Tool time

We had an overload of cuteness a few weeks ago. Chad is building a deck and outdoor fireplace in the backyard so Cohen is constantly wanting to 'go help dad with the tooooooools'. 

As i was changing Willa i heard him fussing around in the lounge room...i came out to find him with his gumboots on and tool box in hand waiting at the back door to be let out. I helped him down the stairs and once he go to the bottom he reached into the tool box and got an old pair of sunglasses out, put them on and ran to find Chad, yelling...'Daaaad readyyy!!'. My heart melted...such a little man at only 2!

What a boy

Silence in the house usually means that someone is up to no good. So i decided to go and investigate....

A huge smile came over my face when i found one toddler happily playing with his cars in his bed room. He is obsessed with his cars at the moment. He knows all there names and loves to line them up across the table before he shoots them off the edge. Its so funny how boys and girls seam to gravitate to the stereotypical "boys" or "girls" toys. We be no means pushed him to play with cars, blocks and tools.. we even have dolls for him to play with. However he has chosen to go down the 'boy toy' path and is almost inseparable from his cars at time. We have found his fast asleep in his bed at night holding tightly onto his favourite car of the day. Such a cutie...

What goes up must come down!

For Chad's 30th we decided to get him a sky dive voucher. After many years on promising i would get him one for his birthday (i believe i said i would for his 21st and almost every birthday there after)...he finally got the chance to jump! We headed down to Byron on the most perfect day EVER!!! The bluest of blue skies, not a cloud to be seen and not a whisper of wind. PERFECTION!

The boys made it down in one piece, looking very pleased with themselves. Lets just hope they don't make this a regular addiction!

Trying to creep up behind me and tip his milk on me, i spotted one very suss looking toddler behind me!

Bath time is so much fun

Lately it is sometimes a bit of a challenge to get Cohen out of the bath. Ever since he started swimming lessons a few months ago, he loves to practice his kicks and bubble blowing at bath time.

As much as the saturated bathroom and protesting child can annoy me. It sight of him taking to himself and his cute little 'cheeks' always puts a smile back on my face and make up for the mess i have to wipe up haha.

I am loving all the smiles and giggles Willa is making at the moment. Each day seams like she grows more and more into her own little person. I love getting to know our newest family member!

Birthday morning...just like Christmas

Its not half obvious that this boy loves his cars! He will play for ages lining them up and driving them around this room, the lounge or anywhere he happens to be playing. So for his second birthday we decided to get him a multi level car garage to store and also drive his cars on.

We set all his presents up in the lounge room so that when he stumbled out of bed in the morning he would have a nice surprise waiting for him. He was over the moon and wouldn't even look at the camera so i could take a photo. All eyes were on his new favourite toy!

Love

Whilst we were having family snuggles i spotted such a beautiful moment with Cohen and Chad!

Love is so simple...its moments like these that make my heart melt. I love our little family of four...life is pretty much perfect.

Seaworld for the first time!

We decided instead of a party this year we would take Cohen to Seaworld. With his love of Nemo, and of Dora (mainly Boots) we thought he'd really enjoy it. With all the craziness that has gone on over the past month it was nice to just have a day with the four of us and also give Cohen a bit of 'spotlight' time.

He is a real little kid now, going on all the rides with Dad. He loved the penguins, shark bay (the underwater tank) and of course the Dora show! Guess this is the beginning of our little family of fours big days out!

Hattie Turns Two!

Cohen's BBF Harriet was the second to turn 2 our of the three musketeers (Eve, Hattie & Cohen...we had a great afternoon at the Churchman's filled with lots of crazy toddler fun. Cohen almost never left Hattie's side especially when he cake came out, helping her sing happy birthday and of course blow out her candles.

Gorgeous birthday Girl!

Looking forward to another crazy, fun and chaotic year with a whole bunch of 2yr olds. They can certainly test us at time, but we wouldn't have it any other way! We are very fortunate to have such a strong network of lovely Mumas a their beautiful kidlets to play and grow with.
