Tough Guy

Day 81 

Today Cohen went play with one of his little friends while i did some running around. Full of confidence he climbed up the slide and got ready to slide down, only to realise that it was actually a little higher than he thought and chickened out. Haha first time for everything i guess....wont be for long though.

Spring glow

Day 80

While Cohen checked out whats going on through the front french doors i was lucky enough to capture this little gem. He loves to watch the people walking past waving and saying hi as they go by. The best is when we have our rubbish collection day and he runs over to the doors and watches with excitement as the big truck picks up the bins with a huge clunk. Simple pleasures!

Day 79 

I just love this photo...Cohen learning how to 'play gentle' with younger babies...one day Van will be big enough (if not bigger) and give Cohen a run for his money!

Painting

Day 78 

Today we had a lovely morning painting with Cohen's friends. It was so much fun to see them all explore and discover. Some enjoyed it more than others, while Cohen first thought the idea of getting to smudge stuff all over everything was fun he soon lost interest when he discovered the paint tasted terrible and he couldn't eat it. Eve on the other hand LOVED the chance to let her creative talents shine, as she sat quietly and brushed away to carefully with a single finger while all the others were covered head to toe in blues, greens, reds and yellow. SO much toddler fun!

Hats on!

Day 77 

Our hat wearing continues, i found this super cute kids hat at cotton on kids, Cohen just loves it...fits him a little better than mine haha. Outside play always needs 'hats on' and why not do it in style!

Here comes the sun

Day 76

We are loving this warmer weather....being able to run around in nothing more than a nappy playing with buckets of water and eating icy poles. Best time of year...lets hope things don't heat up too much too quickly, not ready for sticky sweaty summers just yet.

Day 75 

Oh dear...when one cheeky toddler is left alone with a drink bottle that doesn't have a 'no slip' lid, well you can see the outcome. At least he took it outside on the deck, quite smart actually; wont get in trouble and wont be found for just that little bit longer while i hunt around the house searching for a suddenly quite child!

New tricks

Day 74

Learning new tricks from dad is always so much fun to watch...Cohen watches Chad so closely to take every little detail in...like father like son!

Brain freeze

Day 73

With all this sunshine it calls for ice blocks, and there's nothing better than frozen fruit to munch on. Cohen got stuck into some frozen raspberries to cool off after a long hot day. This was most certainly an outside activity as the red was spread from eyebrow to elbow.

Happy Days

Day 72

Wow what an amazing day...and didn't we take full advantage of all the sunshine. We set up the shell on the deck and Cohen had the best time climbing in and out running around like a cheeky monkey. Happy happy happy days! Of course the straw hat had to come out with us...never not by his side these days!

Day 71

Do you think he knows thats this is the face that I can't say no too??? Hhhmmm, im dreading the day when he figures it out haha.

We had such a lovely day, Cohen is back to his normal crazy self after what seams like a never ending marathon of coughs and colds there is light at the end of the flu tunnel. So the ninja is back with great force keeping me busy as usual, but after what we have just gone through, thats just the way i like it!

Table and Chairs

Day 70

We finally got a table and chairs set for Cohen today so that he can learn to sit and eat his food like a 'big boy'. He was so excited and put all his toys on the table, sat on the chair and happily played. Now all i have to teach him is that we SIT on chairs and do not use them to climb to higher grounds! Haha...oh and you may notice we still have our hat on, he seriously loves it - i love how he wears it backwards so he can see!

Just chilling

Day 69

Seams that we have skipped spring and gone straight to summer...Cohen does not deal with the heat at all (more of a snow bunny haha), So to try and ease his discomfort we set up a cubby on the deck for the day and just chilled out. so much fun listening to his giggles and he peaks in and out of the cubby door.
